On 17 October 2016, our partner Stanley Chan participated in a legal talk on financing and wealth management in Hong Kong, which was hosted by the Cheng Du office of our strategic partner Hui Ye Law Firm.
On 14 October 2016, our partner Stanley Chan delivered a community talk on 「 Wills and Probate」 to elderly people in Ho Wing Neighbourhood Centre for Senior Citizens in Sau Mau Ping, as a representative of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
Our partner Stanley Chan delivered a school talk on 「Rule of Law and Legal System in Hong Kong」 to senior form students of (St. Claire’s Girls’ School) on 11 October 2016, as a representative of the Law Society of Hong Kong.
一眾同學與研習班講師暨全國人大常委會香港基本法委員會副主任、全國人大法工委副主任張榮順先生合照留念。 由中央人民政府駐香港特別行政區聯絡辦公室籌辦的《香港中產專業人士國情研習班》 (“研習班”) 已於本年11月13至17日在北京中華文化學院舉行。本行黃可欣見習律師獲邀代表本行出席。近50名來自香港工商界企業精英及社團代表一同探討中國的近現代歷史、政治體制、經濟及法律制度、當代外交、香港《基本法》和一國兩制問題等課題。
2015年10月7日，本行合伙人陳永良律師代表香港律師會為慈善團體嗇色園營運之長者社區中心舉行講座，向超過20名長者講解「平安紙及遺產繼承等法律」。
「北京大學中國研修班同學會有限公司」（“同學會”）於1998年在香港成立，一直以來同學會均積極參與對北京大學的不同類型的資助活動。為更有組織性地招募善款和擴闊運用規模，本行合顆人司徒維新律師帶領本行龎博文律師，義務協助同學會成立「北京大學中國研修班同學會基金有限公司」（“基金會”），並於2013年5月14日成功於香港註冊。 基金會第一屆會員周年大會暨董事會選舉已於本年10月16日舉行。本行合顆人司徒維新律師獲推選為基金會之義務法律顧問，繼續協助基金會促進、支持及增進香港、中國內地及世界其他地區的學院與北京大學的教育發展、學術上之交流及合作。
