On 3 September 2025, our Partner, Ms. Doreen Kong Yuk Foon, attended the Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory in the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War in Beijing.
To mark the 80th anniversary of China’s War of Resistance and the end of the Second World War, a grand commemorative event was held at Tiananmen Square and the Great Hall of the People in the capital. On the morning of the event, a military parade showcasing the equipment of the People’s Liberation Army was conducted, which is also widely referred to as the “3 September Parade.”
During the commemoration, 80,000 pigeons of peace were released and 80,000 balloons were ascended into the sky, while the stirring melody of “Singing the Motherland” resounded throughout the square. The aerial formation of the Chinese military pulled out fourteen colored smoke trails across the sky, symbolizing the Chinese nation’s 14- year epic journey of the war of resistance , as well as the bright future of over 1.4 billion Chinese people towards national rejuvenation and prosperity.
