On 27 February 2023, Mr Chan was invited as the speaker to the ‘Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and Legal Issues Concerning International Commercial Disputes’ Seminar held by the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Legal Professional Committee of Guangzhou Lawyers Association. The event was simultaneously attended both online and in-person by over 200 lawyers and other related personnels with the topic being ‘Introduction on Hong Kong Legal System and Legal Practice’.
Notably, we had the pleasure of having various honoured legal experts including Mr. HUANG Hui, Mr. ZHANG You and Mr. ZHANG Xu Feng etc. who are the Heads of Legal Professional Committees under Guangzhou Lawyers Association.
In the morning of 28 February 2023, Mr. Chan and colleagues of Kingbridge Sun Kuong Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as KSK) visited Guangdong Kingbridge Law Firm (hereinafter referred to as Kingbridge). Discussion regarding the development of joint venture was held between the visiting delegation and the management team of Kingbridge.
The Kingbridge members in attendance are Mr. NIE Wei Guo (Party Secretary, Director), Mr. WANG Xin (Deputy Director) and other heads of departments.
Notwithstanding the constantly-changing market, KSK and Kingbridge continue to embrace not only opportunities, but also to face challenges in-arms. Collaboration between lawyers in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau would not cease to thrive while we shall devote our professionalism in laws into the development of legal service industry in the Greater Bay Area (hereinafter referred to as GBA).
